I have been looking around for an anti-virus program that just works without spending $100 on a subscription plan. I tried Lavasoft Free Edition and I liked it, however, it does not detect on any of my PCs viruses. This is the only reason why I haven’t given it a try on my real PC. I tried out Avast Free Antivirus and it also doesn’t detect viruses. I tried out Panda Free Antivirus and it did detect a few of my friends’ viruses, but I didn’t have time to check on all the viruses it does detect.
So, I’m really searching for a free antivirus program that can detect viruses and NOT put a subscription plan on my teeth.

I am a newbie. The only question is how do I get to the “easylinux” directory? It is not listed in the menu. Thanks for the help, I will look into it more later.

it does what it says it does, all you have to do is to download and install it..
Anyways, i have another question. I have installed it and successfully made my first backup, but I have found out that my system still has a few things that I need to backup, like my source list. How can I get this list?
