How do you get the number of days in the Gregorian Calendar?

I am using Java and am trying to get the number of days between two Gregorian Calendar dates. I know I can use getActualMaximum(), but I wanted to get the number of days by using the GregorianCalendar objects to determine the dates and then subtract them by using the getActualMaximum().
Is there any way to determine the number of days, using Calendar?
I tried using the Sun’s date api’s to do this, but it only allows you to get the day of the month.

You can count days starting from 1 instead of from 0. I think this is quite a bit more elegant.

long amount = difference % (1000*60*60*24); // minutes
long days = amount / (1000*60*60); // hours
long daysLeft = difference % (1000*60*60); // seconds
System.out.println(days + ” ” + amount – days * 24 + ” ” + daysLeft); // days

Try:
Calendar calendar1 = new GregorianCalendar(…);
Calendar calendar2 = new GregorianCalendar(…);
long difference = calendar1.getTime().getTime() – calendar2.getTime().getTime();

This should give you how many days there are between the 2 dates.

What’s New in the Village At The Mountain?

This is one of the most picturesque images in my portfolio.
This image was shot in the same remote area as the previous Win 7 image.
This image is intentionally a little blurred to create the feeling of a small village.
I composed the image using a wider angle lens and at a far focus point.
The colors in the image were faded gradually using curves in photoshop.
To further enhance this win 7 image the earth looked little blue.
So I used the blue filter and it brought the earth that little bit more to life.
The last add on was a light blue sky.
This was done using Filter Gallery.
For water, I used the NIK DRUCK filter (named Filter Gallery is Nik Photo Filter).
This filter is a part of the Live Effects filters which allows you to apply filters directly to images on your computer.
To try it out you download it from Nik software shop.

Well, I will use the (Busy) as a wallpaper for my pc.
I think its pretty funny to start using a win 7 default picture on my pc.
And you should also try it.
