When you open the application, you can see these instructions.
Settings
The main window have two settings: “pointer mode” and “knob”.
Pointer mode:
It will be default mode, when you get access to settings window.
In this mode, touchpad, trackpoint and trackpad will be used in turn.
Knob:
This is method to use the touchpad, on the other hand, mobile touchpad (usb mouse with integrated touchpad).
Drag pointer speed:
“Drag pointer speed” is the fastest speed to move the pointer.
When you drag pointer, pointer moves faster than normal speed.
Acceleration:
“Acceleration” is a way of acceleration when dragging pointer, this will be useful for PC touchpad users.
“Acceleration” works as a negative acceleration.
Velocity:
“Velocity” is a way of velocity when moving pointer.
“Velocity” works as negative acceleration.
Friction:
“Friction” is a way of friction when dragging pointer.
“Friction” will make the pointer to stop quickly when dragged on outside the pointer area.
Buttons:
It is a way to use the buttons and trackpoint.
At the moment, it is only a way, but on the future, it will be only available buttons.
“Next” button:
It gives the next user input command.
If the next button is pressed on mousing, pointer would be right clicked on the current mouse button, and if it is pressed on the left border of touchpad, trackpoint or trackpad, you can move pointer to the left.
If the pointer area goes beyond the right border, for example when moving pointer with trackpoint, the next button act like the next tracker button, if it’s pressed on the touchpad area, it’s like left clicking.
“Previous” button:
It gives the previous user input command.
