The only things thats left is how to gain the ability to multi-select/bulk-copy files onto the Flash Drive. Im sure this will be a real fun challenge!

I am trying to flash it again and theres no progress bar at all. It is flashing a drive that doesnt even exist. The only flash drive it was working for was my usb flash drive and i have to use that to turn it on. I havent seen any errors.
A very substantial subset of devices are dropping support for the CP1HC1 controller chip. This controller is dated 2007, and is still common in full sized internal hard drives, which are mostly SATA (although some of the really new ones use SAS anyway) and thus do not require that chip. Some of the company’s that sell these keys also use an open source FTL, which does not support these chips. The proprietary ones do not show up with the FTL until after the first firmware flash has been completed.
Ok so i may be screwed but i had to checks here. So i did the thing and it worked great until i pulled out the usb like an idiot. It wouldnt start up no matter what i did. It kept bringing me to the menus about troublshooting. I went to the cmd page and deleted the cfadisk.sys and cfadisk.inf_amd.. and i thought it worked but now im stuck in a infinite restarting loop where there is no repair mode, options, or anything. The boot key doesnt do anything and i dont know what to do. Please help.
To work properly with this particular USB key, which uses a very late controller, you must use AlcorMP Version 15.03.05.00 or newer. I tried a Version 14 with no luck, due to the flash not being supported. By default, it will run with administrative rights so it can hook a special driver to talk to the keys and reprogram them. The program has a large set of accompanying.bin files, which seem to contain code to run on the controller itself, which makes this controller a possible safety issue, as noted for Phison controllers in the BadUSB exploit. The fact the controller can be so easily reprogrammed is a boon for those making fake flash keys.
