the second summit was certainly more crowded than the first. we also sold more books, but i didn’t notice any increase in ticket prices. perhaps amazon should have raised them? i also wasn’t able to catch up with as many people from the first summit, and i was a little disappointed at this, but the larger gathering, i hope, was a result of the word-of-mouth from the first summit. summit was about sharing resources, helping our peers, and in this context, this is a good thing. seeing a rise in the number of participants is cause for celebration.
perhaps the summit 2, too, will become a “must-attend” event for many of its participants. but if you are still working on addressing these issues , continue to share your resources. i for one am thankful that more resources exist for promoting the project.
looking ahead, i am excited about the third summit that will be held on may 3 & 4. i would like to invite you to discuss it via the comments of this post. i am planning to return to the idea of the unconference idea that is the heart of the summit, and i will continue to share resources about some of the key issues i’ve thought about as we work on summit 3, along with some news about what is coming in the future.
all the community members are excited to be together sharing experiences, socializing with each other, exchanging knowledge, and experiencing new things. we’ll be sharing our learnings, discussions, and ideas through twitter, facebook, and other social media such as whatsapp and facebook messenger.
the second part of summit is the book’s “how.” this includes instructions for the reader and for those who plan to follow her lead, a separate set of exercises. this section includes ten methods for developing both the physical and mental skills.
