Space of Darkness is a horizontal, single-player shooter based on the style of old classic games.
Gameplay
The mechanic is the only one on the ship, which is a small space station, but now it is completely alone.
In the beginning you have only a flashlight. To make it even darker you have to collect some batteries.
You have to get the electronic door unlock. After that you have to get the 2 passwords and finally you can open the door.
After you unlock the door there will be a room with 2 electric doors, which will be a little bit difficult to deal with.
After that there will be some bonus rooms.
The bonus rooms include some dangerous enemies.
The game doesn’t have a storyline, you have to make your own adventure. There is a storyboard, but the game’s storyline is created by you.
In one bonus room you have to collect batteries for 2 more rooms.
As every room is generated by the map generator you have to do some quests. Some quests include a certain amount of batteries or enemies.
Since the game is a personal project it should be more of a replayability.
The game should be close to old classics like: Captain Blood, Alien Breed or Sentinel.
