Hello peeps! This is my first post for the month and last week I had the first chance of using some of the new stamps I had bought myself… I couldn’t wait to use them, thanks to the lovely Lynda D and the Stamp Shop Challenge.
I used the background stamp on the number and coloured it in with gel pens, not really sure what I’d do with it, maybe I’ll put it up in my bedroom?
I stamped the flowers on DSP, coloured them with a Copic, added the sentiment from the Panda Garden stamp set and added a little bit of Love so that it becomes a special day on the 1st of the month, added a bit of Liquid Pearls on the edge to make the DSP and some Stickles on the leaves and on the bow.
I was going to stamp the SU stamps on the background piece, but my ink pad was empty, so I went for a different approach. I coloured the elephant with pencils and Cola inks, cut him out and used the background stamp on to colour in, then added some Stickles around his horns and ears, added Liquid Pearls to the DSP and to the drawstring at the back of his tusk and glued everything down.
Finally I used the Summer Hues stamp set and stamped a bumblebee on the net card, coloured it with the Copics. I stamped the sentiment and gave him little balloon with the copics then cut it out and mounted him on some more DSP. Finally I added some Stickles on his legs and added the sentiment.
I added some lace around the edge and stamped the anchor from the Anchor stamp set, coloured it with a Copic and distressed it with my cuttlebug. I think that was
