Adobe CC 2015 is a brilliant piece of engineering and its product range gets better and better. I downloaded it and uploaded my template to PDF It gave me no errors. I then opened the file in Edius 2015 and clicked Load Content into Edius template and it gave me an error code 1500. This is a very silly problem, there was no configuration missing, no hidden errors in my computer or software.
This was frantic and there was no solution in sight. I would have liked to use the product as-is but I wanted to get this problem solved. So I did the next best thing. I used a clean install of CC2015 with a template with a basic layout in it and loaded the same template into Edius 2015 and it worked as expected.
I changed the settings in the project for the same preview and that worked all right, so I went into the properties and screen layout for the same template and made all the tolerances as I should have done in the first place and compiled and worked perfectly.
So now its time to try and activate my upgraded file, and it’s failing. The only error that it gives me is “Error Code 1500. No Adobe CC 2015 product found”. I have installed it in the same C:/ drive location as it used to be, with the same account and password and am still getting the error.
