after u download the Stronghold 2, find the battlefield.ini file and open it and change the other fields below as of your local character creation values, please do not forget to change the hostname field for example if u want your hostname to be named as hostit.com instead of YOUR_HOSTNAME player name will be hostit with no dot before. Now u can remove everything that’s regarding the main menu settings or leave just the hostname and port settings… This can take sometime to get that worked out, but it’s worth it, the game itself is great to play when u get all the settings right. Later edit and change the gear images, do the same for the ammo crates, and you should be ready to play.
