1- Open the downloaded folder with a file manager.
2- Double-click the PiXiesPlus.txt file.
3- Type in your PiXies+ username and password.
4- Press the OK button.
After you have logged in, you will be taken to the PiXies+ main page.
5- Open the PiXies+ Control Panel.
6- Right-click the icon to the right of the profile name to open the menu.
7- Select the Calendar icon.
The Calendar icon will have a + symbol to the left of it.

It’s the same problem I had, and it turned out to be this problem.
Try this out:

Check if the version of Android is Lollipop or higher
If it is, make sure you use a ContextThemeWrapper
Otherwise, override a theme defined in your manifest.xml
